The Heritage Christian Academy Girls Basketball Team overpowered Lester Prairie/Holy Trinity in the Section 4A Semifinals at Anoka Ramsey Community College by the score of 67-45. Lester Prairie started the game on fire from the outside going 5-11 from the three point arc and with PG Taylie Scott on the bench with 3 early fouls, the Eagles needed to regroup and establish control of the game.
An 18-3 run in the 1st half helped the Eagles turn around a 9 point deficit into a 10 point halftime lead. Jordyn Allen recorded her 1st ever TRIPLE DOUBLE with a monster night! Her 21 points (going 9/13 from the field), 16 rebounds and 11 blocked shots provided a dominating force on the inside! Four of the five Eagle starters scored in double figures helping them pull out a convincing win with the balanced attack. Following Allen, Taylor Schuck dropped in a career high of 14 points along with 14 points from Taylie (who was 3/4 from 3 point land), Simonson added 12 and Robbins provided 6 points to round out the scoring punch.
